About Me

My name is Dave Larson and I live near Austin, TX and enjoy photography. I work in the IT Industry and have my  Bachelors and Masters Degre in Information Technology. I have been interested in Photography for over 20 years, but never had the ability to take “great” photo’s with a standard Film Camera.  I have had about 5 different models of Digital Camera’s over the last 10 years. I used these camera’s to  capture the important moment’s in life (Kids Growing up, Memories, Vacations, Birthdays, and of course uploading to Facebook).

In April 2010, I bought my first DSLR camera, the Nikon D90.  I have experimented with this camera and read many books on the subject of Photography, taken online classes and watched many informative video podcasts.

I also like to take photo’s and run them through HDR Software and create unbelievable looking photo’s.

I created this site, to share with others what I have learned as well as how to take better photo’s.   I also started taking photographs of friends and family and now offer these services on a part-time professional basis.  Please see my services page to learn more.
